This module implements the Bacula director and provides a basic status and configuration page that allows to fully configure the daemon.

The Bacula Director service is the program that supervises all the backup, restore, verify and archive operations. The system administrator uses the Bacula Director to schedule backups and to recover files.

Installation

Extract the module binary package (.mod) from the archive and install it.

Configuration

After enabling the module the module status and configuration page can be accessed.

Please carefully choose the working directory. The initial configuration ships with a file device that has the WorkingDirectory set to:

/raid/data/module/BaculaDIR/system/var/bacula/working

Since this directory lays within the module installation directory it will be deleted when the module gets de-installed. This will cause the catalog (database) to be lost. If you change the location of the WorkingDirectory you will have to move your existing database or copy a new, empty database into the new directory. An empty database can be downloaded from below.
