ModBase1 bundles common functionality in a single module. This allows developers to use a shared base of libraries and command line tools for their own modules, making their modules smaller and easier to maintain.
To achieve this, two components are provided:
The development packages contain all headers, dynamic and static librares and other files required to build/link against this module.
This module should work for the following models:
Extract the module binary package (.mod) from the archive and install it.
This module does not contain any configurable components.
The module includes the following libraries and tools:
To develop modules that make use of ModBase1 on your own select the development package appropriate for your target platform and extract it into a directory by running:
tar xzf ModBase1-DEVXX-nn.nn.nn.tar.gz
After the package has bee extracted change into the package directory
to update path names stored in config and libtool files.
Now you can source the build environment by running
This will set/update CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS.
Please also make sure that ModBase1 is listed as module dependency in your modules install.rdf - to do so add the following tag to the file (change the version number to whatever the minimum required version is):
